When you think of a electric 2 wheel scooter what name comes up?  I guess it depends on the individual.  Some may think of the name Segway, others may think of Razor a kid's electric scooter.  All I think about is the cost.  What cheap electric scooter can I get with a small budget?  Well, lets explore that concept.  With a certain amount of money what can someone obtain?  I am not going to expand on self propelled scooters or mobility scooters.  Just the facts about personal transportation scooters.

Budget $50 - $200 dollars

Lets start with a budget of $50 to $200 dollars, what type of scooter could I buy.  I know that I am not going to be able to purchase a Honda scooter with this type of money.  But, can I get something to run to the store or to the corner to my local 7-Eleven.  I am a big man. I weight around 270 pounds so I don't have many choices in this class.  But if I want a kid's electric scooter this is a perfect price point.  At this price point I have the choice of brands like Razor, Currie Technologies and X-Treme Scooters just to name a few.  These scooters can reach a top speed of 10-20 mph and are perfect for children.
